When we first started the company in 2022, we went through lists — and then new lists — and then a final list of potential names. We even purchased two legal entities before we found the name. It needed to meet very specific criteria: it had to be available at the state and contractor levels, work legally for trademarking, have matching URLs, and still reflect who we are at our core.

After all that searching, Bighorn Plumbing was born — and we were amazed it was even available! It truly felt meant to be.

The Bighorn sheep, Nevada’s state animal, represents strength, determination, and pride — qualities that define both our team and the way we serve our customers. And while we’re not hunters ourselves, we’re proud Nevadans and conservationists who appreciate the tradition and balance of it all. (Congrats  on that once-in-a-lifetime 2025 Bighorn tag — we can’t wait to display that photo!)

We’re proudly Battle Born, but we’ve also legally trademarked “Bighorn Plumbing” so that as we grow, we can take our name, our culture, and our standards with us — wherever opportunity leads.
